This is my second time staying here and I absolutely love the location! Gates Hotel is next to a Walgreens and Liquor store which is very convenient! The beach is across the street and is in a comfortable walking distance! The food at the hotel is pretty good for when we want a poolside snack. Just about every uber ride was under $10 when we went off site to eat which is a plus!

Actually, I liked nothing about the hotel with the exception of the staff who was always pleasant and smiling. The housekeeping was at an acceptable standard.

The staff were great, the pool was calm with a nice DJ during some hours which we enjoyed. Definitely ok for families. Room was clean and comfortable. Large enough. The warm welcome cookies and reusable water bottles with water stations was nice.
